It was Monsieur Balmain’s distinctive background and outlook that guaranteed that his post-war haute couture designs would remain timeless—as fresh today as when they were first created, many decades ago. In addition, the house founder’s mastery of graphics allowed for the creation of mesmerizing patterns that have also stood the test of time, including the iconic Labyrinth, which serves to decorate the wirecore temples of the B-Army frame.
